A young and impassionate woman from Nebraska tries to make it big in broadway but has an accident while acting that dashes her dreams. And while a broken leg might deter any dancer, she doesn't give up no matter what. One day, while high on painkillers she's picked up by an old couple that help her get back on her feet, get a place to stay and slowly her dreams of being a successful dancer become true.
