Summer was pretty excited about everything this morning. She zigged and zagged and zoomed around her front acre at top speed. Thankfully there were no sonic booms or barking to wake her pal or the neighbors. I tried to get photos but there wasn't enough light.
Once she settled down we cuddled to watch the intense colors of the sunrise surrounding us.
I told her that I woke up early and had been thinking. I am resolved that no matter what that we stay true to ourselves. We want to be the kind of people who lift ourselves up by lifting those around us. We don't want to be like the people who are lifting themselves up on the backs of those they feel are beneath them. It might not be tomorrow but I do believe kindness will prevail.
Summer says yep we got this.
