Also I use a factory reset, offline Kindle on airplane mode with a deleted Amazon account (airplane mode keeps it usable w/o that stupid paywall + used an email alias for added anonymity thanks to Proton Mail (nprofile…kunw)/Pass) that still lets me transfer .epub books from Calibre to Kindle using the USB Drive Mode. As you can see, my device has 2 books I am currently fixated on atm (shoutout to LynAlden (nprofile…szx8)'s Broken Money. It’s SO good!)

Does anyone have a better set-up using Kindle as a recycled product? If so, I’d love to hear how y’all do it!
