I contacted the writers of the report and asked them about the metal fatigue caused by the hydrogen.
They said they had never heard of it. They would have to look into it
Rockefeller got jacked up by the railroad and started building pipelines. They are cheaper in the long run and safer. It doesn't solve the hydrogen problem but it points out the ships make little sense.
