I garden obsessively for pollinators. In my back garden I have herbs and native wildflowers. It is warm and sunny today, so I should be documenting the variety of insects and listening to their sounds.

I cannot see any insect of any type.

When I was little, the field opposite was crawling alive with grasshoppers. I haven't seen one single grasshopper in years.

I live in a rural setting, not a concrete jungle.
