The story of biomass is one more sorry example in the horrific Green Transition. In the UK, there is a power station that emits 12 million tons of CO2 a year burning trees from old growth forests in Canada. The UK government gives billions in subsidies to this power station. Why? Because burning wood is classified as “renewable” and thus the 12 million tons of CO2 caused every year officially doesn’t exist.
