I wrote about Flipboard (npub13fk…z5hw)'s next major step in becoming a part of the #Fediverse - letting users follow anyone on Mastodon, PixelFed, or any other federated service (including federated Threads accounts!) *without* needing to federate!
I think this is a really smart way of letting folks dip their toes in the open social web without needing to commit to it 👏🏼
