With few exceptions, all Americans should be obligated to do some form of this, whether ROTC or National Guard for military, or AmeriCorps or other local municipal volunteering (fire, medical, etc.) for domestic service, or Peace Corps for international, at some point in their lives — the earlier the better.

It’s insane to me that people complain about a little bit of jury duty which is an absolute pillar of our judicial system. Really demonstrates that we have completely lost our way.
