This is possibly the weirdest thought I've ever had, but... I'm glad I got cancer. I'm glad I have no idea if I'll be alive 3 months from now. I am no longer able to take anything for granted, and that inability makes small things feel miraculous and exciting. It's honestly a great way to live, and I would rather live this way for 3 more months than the way I used to live for 40 more years.
