I recently got addicted to Space Station 14.
A remake of the Space Station 13 game on Byond that I used to play like 10 years ago. The Byond software and servers suck so much that the original game is basically unplayable nowadays, especially trying to get it to run on modern operating systems.
Space Station 14 however is fully free software 
and has a native GNU/Linux client and has an actual active playerbase of around 500 to 1000 daily players or something.
Definitely one of the greatest free software vidya and deserves to be in same list as Xonotic, OpenTTD and StepMania.
