Samsung, Levar/Micron, or SanDisk all make their own wafers. Kingston creates a spec and buys what’s available. If had to choose, I go with one of the first three. But the difference is going to be small.
The bigger thing to think about is that you don’t want to use sd cards as long term storage. They degrade over time. They’re the cheapest part of the wafer before it becomes scraps. Definitely something you want to check periodically.
