There is a story, perhaps apocryphal, that Consumer Reports issued a "not recommended" on one of the earlier MuskMobiles based on long stopping distances. Tesla said "hold my beer" and updated the braking on all those cars.
I cannot imagine driving a vehicle that has the capability of changing critical operating parameters on the fly at the whim of an engineer somewhere. To say nothing of malware or just buggy code.
