In particular, the part that "if Harris made her position clear, it would harm her chances of being elected". Indeed! I can see what her policies would be even now and would never vote for her, even if I could - but many people can't see it now and are confused by her word salads.
Also, for many people it will be a surprise to learn that apparently Biden was the sharper knife in the drawer. The sharper spoon anyway.
I also agree that if Trump loses now, it's all over for him. Not only for the reasons you stated but also because his political enemies will make sure that he's bankrupted and in jail.
