As a solicitor, is it imperative that you are paid from a bank account in the name of the company you are representing before you can act? Or is it sufficient to satisfy yourself that you have adequately identified the persons involved and the source of the money? (We're getting the run-around from a conveyancing solicitor, I'm trying to figure out if they're being obstructive or these are genuine rules.)
