I just refused to speak at a conference on behalf of my employer because it is held in Kansas. Sorry, it might not be my country so I shouldn't judge but as a genderqueer person I can't ignore their legislation on gender and sexuality. If my trans colleague isn't safe there we shouldn't comply by sending someone else.
