I wish I could explain it better, but a huge feature of fascism is taking words that mean a thing, and twisted them to mean something nauseating, and then working their ass off to literally change the definition in the public sphere to mean what they have been implying all along. It's literally a major through-line in everything they do, from their propaganda to the way they enforce social hierarchies. If you can learn to spot it, turning the tables on the nazis gets a bit easier.
