Eventually the void will come for us all, for you today is not that day.
Furthermore if you wish to post anonymously you can create a second npub.
One of the protocol features is there are no admins, no algos.
Being tied to your past notes is a helpful incentive to stay honest and be genuine.
If you post it, you wear it.
If you crave anonymity, create a new pair, and set the profile information accordingly.

#Sauna thoughts

Could we have it where each time we publish a note, it's attributed to a burner Npub.

Publishing all our notes to one specific Npub is potentially a privacy issue in the future?

By having anonymous notes, we can choose which information we want to attach to our identity.

And our Nsec is just to control our profile.

We decide which notes we publish are associated with our profile.

One can add or remove notes to our profile.

Notes added to our profile activate the zap function to our selected wallet

Notes we have discarded are removed from zappability.

But free notes in circulation which were discarded by an nPub could be claimed by anyone and added to their profile, allowing them to benefit from zaps.

I'm literally talking into the void.
