Evenin' nostr. I went to the gun range today for some handgun practice. The weather was nice, 38 and partly cloudy, light breeze. The pistol bays were completely ice covered, but I managed to not slip and fall even though I forgot my ice cleats. I tried out my new glock 29 gen 5, 10mm for the first time. It ran okay. There were two instances out of 250 rounds where it failed to fully go back into battery after firing. A tap, rack, bang solved it both times and the rounds worked after I picked them up and reloaded them. I didn't clean or lube it before firing, that might have been the issue. It's very shootable, even with a three fingered grip. I am making hits consistently, just need to work on the recoil anticipation that makes some shots go low. The trigger slap kind of sucks, I might get an after market shoe for it.
