This is extremely disappointing news from the SNP government. Greyhound racing sees a huge number of dog deaths and serious injuries, and the weight of evidence is clearly in favour of a ban.
Scottish Greens MSP Mark Ruskell is in the process of bringing a Bill to the Scottish Parliament that would end this cruel sport in Scotland.
