Ramming speed Captain!
Due to the impact of continental drift upon Global Positioning Systems, in 2017 the official coordinates of Australia were moved North by 1.5m. The update put virtual Australia in the position it would be in 2020, when at some time during the year, the coordinates would represent the actual position of the continent.
We’re able 28cm further North now in 2024.
