Look. Listen. Remember the Great Blackout of 2003 that took out the electrical grid on the east coast and part of Eastern Canada? The "reported" story was that a tree branch caused an outage somewhere in the vicinity of Akron, OH that cascaded across the grid. What REALLY happened is that a software rollout to sensors deployed code that didn't work correctly. So the branch hit the line, the sensor's new software didn't do what it was supposed to...and lights out! So now....
