GM, I highly recommend this short animated video that explains how the Mississippi Company banking scam failed. I find it hilarious because you can replace many of the characters with “The Fed”, “Bernanke”, “the president”, etc and the story doesn’t change. The sleight of hand mechanisms they used are also exactly like the ones of today.
Central banking always eventually collapses in on itself. Always. Who’s going to buy the bonds?
