The people who in protest to the governments ban on TikTok and went to China owned "Red Note" instead are finding out that LGBTQ people may not be as welcomed as they were on TikTok.

Apparently they say that as long as you don't "promote" that you're gay or otherwise affiliated, then nothing will happen. However they never define what "promoting" is. So "existing" could be seen as a form of "promoting".
