So apparently YouTube is working on injecting ads directly into the video stream.
I actually think this is a neat idea as it will mean that YouTube has a greater financial incentive to move users to Premium.
Injecting ads into the video stream = more money/compute time per view = paying customers cost them less
Also, this should theoretically be better for privacy.
However, knowing Google, they'll mess it up big time. 🙄
