I pulled an m.2 SSD from an HP laptop. Motherboard has corrosion on it, so perhaps was damaged by a liquid spill.
Put the SSD in another laptop and booted with #LinuxMint #Debian Edition live USB. Used the Disks utility to take a look at the drive. Windows partition is locked with BitLocker.
Already contacted the owner and sent them the Microsoft Support link so they can look for their BitLocker key.
The owners had requested data recovery from the non-working laptop, as they did not have the data backed up.
