So, now that i have a clean project to start on with liblast, i had a good chance to debug actual use cases. With godot physics, the engine will stutter a lot with complex collisions, but with jolt is not much better. Manipulating the shapes of just 64 characters to crouch at the sime time cost me around 90 ms.
So i made a test.
64 characters on vertical free fall cost around 120 ms, more the quicker they move.
