Heather Cox Richardson is always worth your time.
FWIW, my guess has always been that Meadows is cooperating with the DOJ, and has been since before he delivered thousands of pages of documents and then refused to appear for the Jan 6 Committee. I think he’s smart enough to know there was no good way out for him, that he was at the epicentre with his prints all over everything, and that his best chance was to cooperate.
But maybe I’m wrong. I think we’ll know soon.
