I mean, if someone finds out that their fetus might be suffering a severe anomaly, the parents are the people who know whether or not they can look after the resulting child, and it should be up to them how the pregnancy progresses. Not a perfect solution, because social pressure and eugenics are real things, but no one knows their own situation and resources better than the individual in the situation.
