Proud to say I finally convinced a friend of mine to move her sats to a ColdCard, from a Ledger. Also got her to trade out of ethereum and a couple other shitcoins, into Bitcoin.

However, she won’t sell her Monero, but I’ve tried to explain why Ledger Live is a privacy nightmare. No idea how other cryptos work in terms of watching wallets, the way one can use Electrum or Sparrow for Bitcoin on a Ledger...

Is she out of luck? Does Monero have any dedicated hardware? I’m a big fan of the Bitcoin-only Bitbox and their desktop app does allow a Tor proxy. Is their generic HWW a decent improvement? Or is there a #privacy pro out there with other suggestions?
