I guess that's why I'm conflicted with the death penalty. Even with the extensive injustices of the justice system, it has almost nothing to with executions itself, and I'd argue that people who took away others' right to life for entirely malicious reasons and violently have already squandered their own potential as human beings. Maybe that's me becoming tankie scum, but who knows? I just want to see justice happen.
