I remember being able to buy DRM-free games from the Humble Store (or was it just the Humble Bundle?) and, I'm pretty sure, GOG as well and get a free Steam key. Is that still a thing?
I asked because my brother wants a game from his Steam wishlist for Christmas and I want to get it DRM-free.
It seems like he doesn't mind if he has a voucher or not though, so it doesn't matter.
