Telemachy on Nostr: #[1]
quoting nevent1q…e7v7After spending a week or so on Nostr, I’ve put together an early draft of the unofficial Rules of Engagement 👇
1. This is the happiest place on the internets. Interact politely with anyone, even the “big” accounts and they will likely respond to you. You are guaranteed to get >> 10x the engagement you get on Twitter
2. Be kind and welcoming to noobs. Today’s noobs are tomorrow’s protocol proselytizers. Check out the global feed and respond to “hello world” and “is this thing on” type notes with a warm greeting. It can be as simple as an emoji response
3. Dismiss shitcoiners and scammers (not a lot of them at the moment) with pleasant toxicity
4. If you see a LN invoice, make sure you check that the message was not in response to someone else’s request before paying it
5. If you are able, try to send a healthy tip on LN to @jb55 and @fiatjaf.com for this incredible gift they have given us
7. All bets are off for fake jack accounts. Unleash the dogs of war on them
6. This one, and I stress this one, is the most important rule: do not, under any circumstances, unless specifically invited by the host, slide into a gpt3 conversation that you see happening. It kills the vibe and is a bad, bad look
