"content": "I'd have to look at the whole setup again, but I'd suspect that the transmission would be removed. Electric cars don't have transmissions. The engine is setup as a generator to provide electricity for the electric motors, it just idles for the most part, never actually drives the wheels.\n\nAlso looks like they're using a CAT motor now, one of the initial plans was the new Cummins 2.8L.",
