I'm so glad I watched these presentations. My first reaction to the question (as a non-researcher) was that it was a confusion of levels of organization, a sort of categorical error. But, as it turns out, the issue discussed is more generally "what is the relationship between the brain and the mind", and the presentations and commentary seemed to address that question very well.
