the book for the mist is in a collection of short stories from his golden age when he was on coke all the time. p good way better than the movie tbh. he was at his best when blasted out of his gourd and keeping things tight enough that he didn't need to worry about ending a story much because he has no idea how to do that

i read it in like 6th grade and it's p good for that age. simple, easy to read, quick, all surface level
