I was in the Compass Books at terminal three at SFO, signing my books there, and this guy wandered up to the science fiction section and looked at the wall of titles sort of indecisively. I asked him if he wanted recommendations and when said yes, started taking up some of the authors and books there. He ended up taking one of my recommendations, which made me feel good. He did not ask why I was standing there signing books, and I did not tell him.

Anyway: signed books! SFO! Compass Books!
