I got some Onn brand walkie talkies intending to use them in the mountains (which we did!). I'm learning all about how they work, including the privacy codes. Now I'm falling down the rabbit hole of FRS (low power walkies like the ones I have) and GMRS, and CB and ham are on my radar now...
