Reflecting on my 6.8 year old human resource.

I hardly trust her to cross a street unsupervised.

She is smart, but seems to skip steps in the street crossing protocol.

My recipe:

1. Look left.
2. Look right.
3. Look left again.
4. If clear, cross rapidly.

She typically skips step 3.

I remember I started shooting guns around age 9.

And some fights in school drew blood.

Here in the states that seems to only happen in the ghettos.

I fear a bit for the younger generation.
