So now Denmark (my home country) wants to ban encrypted messaging services to fight “gang-related crimes”…
If this ridiculous bill passes, I hope Danish politicians are also banned from using E2EE messaging apps.
Denmark has been pushing for a while to implement laws and tech (like CCTV with facial recognition, just like China) that infringe on the right to privacy.
Unfortunately, seems like every western country is moving in that direction (maybe with a few exceptions).
