I stopped teaching during COVID. Now I'm back to in-person teaching for just one class—and I'm having to mask again (annoying but not as bad as COVID) because, um, SURGE & also new updated vaccines are only just now available (well after the start of classes).
At least the room has windows that open and two air purifiers—but that just doesn't seem enough for current rates (though data is so limited!) given likely risks to self & esp vulnerable spouse.
We could be doing so much better!
