Capitalism has nothing but perverse incentives, but one of the worse is it incentivizes lying. If i have a piece of info you dont, i can make money from you. One of the best examples is a mechanic. If your fuel filter is clogged, it is a cheap part w/ a quick fix, BUT if you dont know this, you might think you need a new engine b/ that part can shut down the engine. Its impossible to know everything, so your ignorance can always be monetized. This is why AI lies so much
