You could have 99,999 nodes accepting the BlackRock fork, but everyone will just everyone will just accept the blockchain that is on that 1 node as the correct one. But realistically true Bitcoiners will just spin up their own nodes to backup that one 'true' node.
We kind of already had this issue in the Blocksize Wars. tbh I wasn't deep enough into Bitcoin at that stage, so ended up sitting it out.
I had one friend that was full into BCH, so he got burned.
