WeirdTreeThing (npub1z9u…f8ta) I don’t think it means people shouldn’t try to do that, too, but I think getting the apps to run on an existing OS is a much shorter-term step than getting people to completely switch to a Linux phone with an emulation layer for their proprietary apps (which may or may not even work).
You get them to try out and eventually fall in love with our app ecosystem *first*, which then makes switching over to a “real” Linux phone in the future that much easier.
