I imagine this is mostly due to the enormous amount of overhead from using JSON as a data format though.
Unpopular opinion primal (npub12vk…pugg) is so much better than Damus on iOS. Idk how Damus still suffers frame drops scrolling and hangs on a 14 Pro.
Primal is butter smooth.
