CIA conspiracy theories aren't that far out when you look into the facts.
The reason I don't trust X isn't so much the content as the people. I can't trust anymore that popular accounts aren't just paid propagandists. We all know the algorithms there aren't neutral and that certain content gets boosted above others.
It's all astroturf now. I used to believe there were "self made stars" on social media but the illusion has been shattered -- any of them might be on someone's payroll. All the influencers busted for taking foreign regime money recently are a good example (see: Tenet Media). And Elon himself is a propagandist in foreign pay.
There's no way to trust these Silicon Valley companies -- it's all smoke and mirrors.
