To say nothing of the “invisible” effects — match-moving, compositing, modelling, and animation — that’s so well done that you’re not even aware of it. And I say that as a die-hard Original Trilogy fan (Lorne Peterson, Phil Tippett, Joe Johnston, Ease Owyeung, & Steve Gawley, FTW!), past model builder, and dark-room photographer. :)
