communism is a philosophy driven by envy, thats why it works so well. Just tell a dumb poor alcoholic, that actually he is entitled to get the same share that the filthy sober hard working reactionaries get, and in fact not even just the same share... no actually you are entitled to all those guys have, because they were benefitting from heritage and education, so that injustice needs to be corrected and the toll to pay will be blood.
Sadly the poor alcoholic is unable to add 1 + 1, so he completely oversaw, that by correcting the injustice against himself, he himself became a burgeoise swine who took for himself a bigger share, and that injustice needs to be corrected of course...

Commies like to say, communism is when all property is share owned by all fellow tovarishes, but thats a clear euphemism. Communism and equality aswell as marxist social justice can only work when nobody owns anything, because ownership aswell as production will create inequality due to different skills, so what you saw in communism was plan economics where the exactly needed number of goods were produced so that each tovarish could have exactly 1..not 2 or 3 exactly 1... all the surplus went into export for $ and Deutschmark. no spare parts, because spare parts would be inequality against those who didn't need spare parts. They also went so far to deny the children of academics higher education, to actively counter steer the formation of a class of academics, to prevent them from collecting values and even worse, inherit it to their children... Just imagine the horror of children going into kindergarten and having to suffer from the inequality caused by a kid whose parents had more than nothing... terrible!!!

But as always there was an exemption for leading party members, but they also had an explanation. Those "politicians" had to visit the west, and so they needed that little extra to not be corruptible by the imperialist reactionary capitalist oppressors...

there is a habit that lots of people who grew up in communism still have to this day. When they see something they wanna have but can't afford, no matter what it is. They need to steel it, but not to have it themselves. They break it and throw it away... It's not about that they have it. It's 100% about that nobody else has it... it's basically the Crab bucket Metaphor taken to the extremes. And it's all driven by hyperinflated envy masked as equality, solidarity, and friendship among tovarishes.

The Vatniks in Putins russian federation show the exact same behaviour. They look towards their neighbouring countries, how they get sewer systems, can afford that "fancy Ikea" furniture from those dirty swedes, and their gouvernment officials don't take a cut of 80%
on every transaction they do. So as a good tovarish, you don't shit on your corrupt politicians, you ask yourself "Who allowed them to have all that shit, they didn't ask russia for permission, have they forgotten who ruled over them in soviet times... they need to learn a lesson" But actually it's not about a lesson, they just wanna fuck shit up so that you are again poorer than them and they can look down on you, while in their bubble still nobody has anything.

I think you can see some of the stuff i describe happen right now in the US around colleges and in company politics.

Sorry for the wall of text, and thanks for reading to those who came that far! This topic matters to me...

I think people who praise communism now or see it as an alternative just don't know what they are talking about, and thats understandable, because they never had any contact with it.

i attached a short story by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. about "equality" and it's hillarious, whoever needs a little bit to read and is interested.
