I'm not condemning Christendom. Nor am I trying to say that Rome was better than Medieval Europe. I'm just making the case that we Western men, today, are some of the most depraved people to ever walk the earth, and it doesn't score us any points to lay the blame at the foot of paganism. If anything, we are now well below the high water mark that some pagan cultures reached.
