I'm the same with most every animal that isn't literally trying to sink it's teeth in to a person, White person that is, and one that hasn't been trying to abuse said animal.
In fact any member of the lesser races that actually advocates and does right by animal frens gets an immediate respect point bonus from me on that front. A small one, granted, but still I'll grant it.
