Yup. Divisive politics and propaganda are pushing us backwards. I recall how years before the pandemic we started measuring and publicly displaying air quality in places like bus stations. When we started getting warnings at 4-7 AQHI people started talking about wearing masks, but nobody had any. After the pandemic we started seeing 10+ AQHI and even though everybody has access to masks, nobody would put one on in the worst smoke because of anti-mask propaganda of recent years.
